My name is Meirav (Merry) Katz.
I was born and raised in Israel and have lived in Las Vegas for more than 10 years. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Physical Education from Tel-Aviv University, am a certified Montessori Early Childhood teacher, and I just graduated from Southern States University with a Master’s degree in Business Administration. I have experience of over twenty years in teaching Physical Education and coaching Judo as a certified coach with a black belt. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading books, taking long walks, swimming, and practicing Yoga.
My goal is to adapt the physical education curriculum to the Montessori environment. I have been implementing my method of moving like Montessori as a teacher and administrator for the past few years. And I would like to support teachers and administrators to follow my lead and help students, and parents in creating a healthier lifestyle.
