The first P.E. lessons of the year are all about recess games and ways for the students to check out equipment and manage their own games during recess. Having signs with detailed rules help students self monitor and manage games without the need of adults support. I created posters for our popular games: Tetherball and Gaga Ball so student can go back to whenever there are arguments over rules. One side has images and less text to support younger students or students who are not yet confident in reading.
